My point is that in order to have a successful blog of any type the content is always key. You must be able to write good content that attracts and sucks in your reader so you can not only create repeat visits but a loyal fan base. So if your content is less than average, there is no way people are going to return or read again, and in this internet age there are millions of other blogs that are waiting for a friendly click. The good news is that you don’t have to be a good writer and neither do you have to pay close attention to perfect grammar and spelling; this isn’t English Class. Nevertheless, the success factor is that you write interesting content that is able to surpass any grammatical errors. This can be done by giving your real thoughts and opinions on a subject or certain niche.

In addition, the more people that like your content the higher the chance they will link to you, and the more people that link to you the higher your ranking in Google will be. Thus, great content will ultimately expand your readership and fan base to unimaginable levels if you put in the effort.

Just by surfing the web casually today could take you into an ocean filled with blogs, but the sad part is many of these blogs have the comment section closed. Closing the comment box is the worst mistake you can do in regards to blogs. Many reasons bloggers may close the comment box is to avoid spammers, but although it can be a lot of work to get rid of spammers it is taking out what bloggers are all about. The entire idea of writing blogs is having a public audience that can write back and speak their minds. An internet without people speaking their minds and giving “2” cents on a particular topic is a dead internet in today’s world. Youtube, Myspace, Twitter, and the world of social media have opened a vast outlet of communication that has no end in sight. If people can contribute to the topic by building conversations between each other and with yourself; the blogger, then this is a sign that you are on the way for a much larger and interested following. Since people will not always agree with your blog there is a possibility that a dispute can arise, and disputes are mostly storms of thought and opinion; thus attracting curiosity to the dispute and blog alike from many people.

Therefore, I like to keep in mind a quote by Andy Andrews who stated, “I hold fast to my dreams, I stay the course and I do not quit”. This is actually one of the most important lessons that any entrepreneur can ever learn. No matter what business, job, or any other line of work you are in, success will only make an appearance through hard work and persistence; be assured that through the hard work there is bound to be failures and temptations to quit. Having a strong mind or building mental strength is critical as these constant detours will never bring you to any greatness and neither to your long term goals.
Napoleon Hill said, “Before success comes in any man’s life, he’s sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That’s exactly what the majority of men do.” So my questions to any entrepreneur or anyone attempting to succeed in Internet Marketing is, are you one of the majority who quits at the first sign of defeat, or in that moment of pressure are you ready and willing to stand out from the crowd?
In Affiliate Marketing; whether it is in PPC, SEO, Blogging, etc., there will be times when you feel like giving up. No business, no matter what many gurus will tell you can make you rich overnight or even profitable overnight, and therefore it will take weeks and most often months before you see any profit. As the affiliate marketing industry moves forward into a new decade there will be a series of new failures, challenges, and successes. Out of the billions that this industry has and the infinite supply of money in the world (despite the economists may say), are you going to give up on your dreams and ideas because of pressure? It is so critical that you begin examining the false beliefs that may be holding you back, attaining the entrepreneurial qualities needed to succeed and not quitting in the face of resistance. This is what separates the successful people from failures, because at the end of the day winners never quit. After these unrealistic dreams were crushed I began to focus on the realistic side of things and realized that effort and creativity is needed in order to make real money online. Do not believe anyone that says you can become rich overnight, because this is not true and more than likely they are aiming at your natural greed impulses and are looking to get your credit card payment.

There is a big difference between making money online and making a living online. Some people who just make money online still have their “9 to 5” jobs, and they’ll just make random bursts of money here and there but not enough to sustain an actual living. In order to make a living online and “live free” be ready to think outside the box; yet, you do not have to re-invent the wheel. In other words, seek routes that will make money outside the traditional path because usually the traditional path is crowded and in turn this will take you a longer time to attain real income.

There are many ways to make money through affiliate marketing without using the traditional route. For example, many people attempt to hammer in the belief that you need a website to make money. This is not true either because the idea to needing a website is a myth. Making money with affiliate marketing can be done through many means; for example, article marketing, forum marketing, cpa offers (once a cpa network approves you), and even marketing through social media such as Facebook or Youtube.
