Well there is lots of seo articles about web optimization or search engine optimization for web site. For beginner's here is some cool tips for optimization.

1. Put keywords in the meta tag keyword.
2. Put keywords in the meta tag description.
3. Put keywords in the title tag.
4. Put keywords in the title of anchor tag.
5. Put keywords in the alt tag of Image tag.
6. Put keywords in the phrases of your body content.
7. Put keywords in the H1,H2,...H6 tags.

All these place are prefered by search engines to read and put only those keywords first which you want to get more traffic for your website.

Google backlinks is the basic concern for a Web master. Basic method to get one-way backlinks is from blogs, forums and directories. Posting posts, comments or a simple registeration can get backlinks for you. Signing peoples' guestbook is also a similar method.

Important and crucial is the trick to get backlinks from high GPR pages. Even if you've only a few links, but from very high GPR pages, Google will reward you a high GPR soon.

I hope next Google update would be in Jun/ Jul and if you get high GPR by this time, you can see a boost of traffic in your Web site because high Google PageRank automatically implies traffic.

Other methods to get backlinks is using your own directory or start reciprocal linking campaigns. Both methods are not much appreciated by Google, atleast link-relevancy is most important.

Finally, you get a get a wonderful Google PageRank, by purchasing a few high GPR relevant (preferably one-way) links for your Web site.

Thanks a lot for giving such informations. But I submit a sitemap.xml to google. And yeah it is showing the same date which I told earlier. Now in the time interval from 1st Apr to till today I change keywords, but still not get satisfied results from Google?????

Today, I checked http://66.249.93.104/search?q=cache:www.mowglitech.com which tells last crawl time as 11 May 2006 20:52:34 GMT.

Well, META keywords are of no importance. Google gives good weightage to H1 tags and to content that it finds in beginning (top) and end (bottom) of home page.

I found that crawling activity of MSN and Yahoo! is more for my Web sites than Google. Back to 1.5 years or 2, Google robots were more active on my Web site.

I also noticed, Google crawlers are more active on high GPR, dynamic pages which changes content after some period. High GPR backlinks can also make Google to crawl your page at faster frequency.
